The Importance of Character building in Children

Episode #4

  • Character education is an important part of teaching our children to be responsible, caring citizens. Parents have a vital role in helping schools teach character education, by encouraging your child to do what is right and discouraging them from doing wrong. By working together at home and school, we can help our children develop good habits for life ā€“ habits that will make them better students today and tomorrow!
  • Athletic competition can bring out the best in kids and develop character. Young people learn life skills like teamwork, leadership, commitment, perseverance, and sportsmanship. These are some of the qualities that will help them succeed in their careers later in life as well as other areas such as school or relationships with friends and family members.
  • Working with a team is easy when they are winning, but when they are losing, it gets hard - and thatā€™s when character shows. When you're working with a team that's losing, you have to be willing to put in the extra work. If your teammates aren't pulling their weight or playing as well as they can, don't give up on them! Work harder than ever before so that everyone can win together.
